Tolkien Moot takes place in Spokane, Washington on the third weekend of July each year.

Tolkien Moot XII will be 16th.

Participation if free for this volunteer-run event, but requires RSVP, and we take a "Pot Luck" approach in that everyone should try to bring something to help with this free event (snacks, beverages, paper plates, plasticware, cups, extra printer paper, LARP gear, etc.).

There is limited seating for the gaming events (typically around 6 to 10 tables), and about 2-3 times the capacity for non-gaming events (guest speakers, musicians, broadcast events of Middle-earth Talk Show, etc.).

For those that can't make it in person, many key events are broadcast live,through interactive Internet-based technologies such as Google+ Hangout, Youtube, IRC, etc.
