Details: The Eä Tolkien Society (http://www.tolkienscholars.org ) monthly meeting & broadcast will be at Tolkien Moot XI ( http://www.tolkienmoot.org ) on Saturday July 18th, 8:30 am to 10:00 am Pacific Time. The main theme for Tolkien Moot this year is: "Giants". The Eä Tolkien Society will be discussing giants from Wagner's Ring, Tolkien's Middle-earth, The Edda, Fairy Tales, and other sources of Giants in mythology and literature in and their relationship to Tolkien's use of Giants in his works. The Eä Tolkien Society will be joined by members of the Wagnerian Society, as well as Eä Tolkien Society members in the U.K. and USA. Do not miss out on the "giant" global discussion.  Special guest Marty Kirschen will join the meeting for a second time.
